The mission of the Alabama BBQ Association (ABA) is to promote barbecue in Alabama, as well as, in its neighboring states. We are proud to announce the ABA Points Chase. Each member in good standing has the opportunity to earn points by competing in any sactioned event\contest (KCBS, SCA or BCA) hosted in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Points will be awarded in each of the following catagories, Chicken, Ribs, Pork, Brisket, Steak and Anchillary. Each team will earn points for placing in the Top 10 in each catagory (shown below) and Overall Winner(s) will be calculated using the teams best 5 contests and tie breakers if required, X (TBD) number of contest will be required to be cooked in Alabama.
